To Our Friends and Peers in the Oregon Cannabis Industry:
In August of last year, an anonymous flier circulated our industry, titled “Warning! Stop Cheater Labs in Oregon!” Our team at Pree would like to address this. Simply put, the claims made against Pree and other labs were baseless and demonstrably false.
Why are we refuting this now? Since its release, the message has had a profound impact on the lives of our team members, the producers we serve, and their marketability with retailers. Although the accusations lacked any supporting evidence, the doubt cast upon our industry is very real.
That’s not how we roll. Our mission at Pree is cultivation — to us, that means we exist to create the conditions for shared success. We adhere to all policies administered by the OLCC and ORELAP; we’ve passed every audit since our inception in 2018, and — beyond compliance — we aim to advance cannabis science for the greater good. Your business and ours depend on the relationships we nurture, and we’ve worked hard to show up as a true partner to those we serve.
We’re here to rebuild trust within our community. In our commitment to transparency, we invite you to tour our labs, meet our team, and ask questions or share feedback. In the coming weeks, you’ll see more from us — informative resources and visibility into our work in the lab. With your support, we will create a cannabis culture grounded in openness and education that benefits everyone from seed to smoke.
In community,
