Oregon requires that hemp fields be tested before they are harvested:
- PREE Labs has highly skilled field technicians that perform the Pre-Harvest Hemp Testing. These contractors have many years of experience and can help answer any of your questions.
- Our technicians will head out to your field and collect 6-8 inch increments to bring back to the lab. Once there, the increments will be homogenized and then tested for Potency and Moisture Content. As per the new 2020 regulations, hemp must now be below 0.35% Total THC (THCA + ▲9-THC), making it harder for farmers this year.
- What you need to do: Fill out the request form and send it to: services@preelab.com. Then, reach out to us at 541-257-5002 and we can get you on the schedule as soon as you need.
Oregon has rules for testing hemp and hemp products after the initial Pre-Harvest Hemp/Qualifying Hemp Testing:
- PREE Labs can test your product at any step during the process.
- See link: https://www.oregon.gov/ODA/shared/Documents/Publications/Hemp/HempTesting.pdf)
Because of the change in regulations, Hemp harvesting will be tighter than ever:
- New 2020 Hemp regulations require hemp fields to be below 0.35% Total THC (THCA + ▲9-THC)
- This means that constant R&D testing will be needed to closely watch your numbers grow. In order to not lose product, testing and harvesting will need to be precise in order to get the highest growth without passing the limit.
- PREE offers special Hemp R&D pricing in bundles to make sure you get what you need. Contact us at: services@preelab.com | 541-257-5002
